Hongkong Electric Holdings Limited
A member of the Cheung Kong Group, the Hongkong Electric Holdings Ltd. (HEH) is the holding company of The Hongkong Electric Company, Limited (HEC), Hongkong Electric International Limited (HEI), Associated Technical Services Limited (ATS) and a number of other subsidiaries.
HEC is the main operating company of HEH. Founded in 1889, HEC is responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of power to Hong Kong Island and Lamma Island. Today, HEC's power station on Lamma Island has a total installed capacity of 3,736MW, serving more than 560,000 customers with a supply reliability rating of 99.999%, a record since 1997.
HEI was established in 1997 as the international investment arm of HEH. Through HEI, HEH holds investments in power-related businesses in Australia, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mainland China and New Zealand.
ATS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HEH. It was established in 1975 as an engineering consultancy firm serving the electricity supply industry.

HEH is listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and is one of the 42 constituent shares of the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong. The Company employs a staff force of about 2,000.
