Maximum Demand Tariff

Tariff charges for the supply will, subject to payment in any month of the demand charge and the unit charge in respect of a minimum of 100 kVA of chargeable demand, be calculated as follows:

For any period less than a month at the beginning or end of supply, the demand charge will be applied and calculated on a pro-rata daily basis. The total units will be charged as if consumed in one month.
"Month" means a period of approximately one month between one normal meter-reading and the next.
"Unit" means kilowatt hour.
"FCA" means Fuel Clause Adjustment.
Payment of any bill received after the due date will be subject to a surcharge of 5%.
Fuel Clause Adjustment (FCA)
A corresponding fuel clause adjustment will be made when the composite fuel price is above or below $700 per 44 gigajoules.
Rate Reduction Reserve (RRR) Rebate
A Rate Reduction Reserve Rebate of 0.1 cents per unit will be provided to the customer starting from 1st January 2010 to refund the interest on the Tariff Stabilisation Fund. The Rebate may cease any time when the Rate Reduction Reserve is depleted.
