    • A conventional electric oven usually has its heating elements on both top and bottom sides and the approximate power of each heating element is 2,500W. Food is baked or broiled by the radiated heat.
    • Convection oven consists of a 2500W heating element and a fan in the back wall. Hot air is circulated by the fan inside the oven. Therefore it can be cooked more evenly and allow larger quantities of food to be baked at the same time.
    • Many models are combined with the convection and conventional oven's features. So user can have more options for cooking.
    • An electric oven may be equipped with self-cleaning function which may raise the temperature to about 455 to 540 degrees Celsius. Any food spill will be turned into light ash. Oven door should be locked shut automatically to prevent accidental opening.
    • An electric oven with self-cleaning function would have better thermal insulation which enhances cooking and energy efficiency. Extra payment for similar feature is worth in the long run.
    • Allow sufficient space for ventilation and heat dissipation.
    • Ensure the swing direction of the oven door suits your environment and allows you for easy access.
