The food gastronomer, Mr. Willie Mark was invited to demonstrate two dishes “Chicken in Sweet Black Vinegar Sauce” and “Salmon Fillet in Sweet Onion Sauce” to over 30 HMC club members in late June. Willie found cooking more convenient, more fun and joy using electric cooking. |

To celebrate Father’s Day, the centre held a “Latte Art Coffee Workshop” teaching participants make interesting art patterns on coffee. Twelve participants together with their fathers attended the workshop. Fiona, the instructor of Latte Art, demonstrated in details the steps of creating Latte Art on coffee and guided participants create their own. Another instructor Eddie taught how to prepare home made coffee. |

United States Potato Board held a Cooking contest in the centre again this year. Primary school students and Secondary school students were both invited to take part. All contestants used potatoes as the main ingredient and developed dishes with “Delicious”, “Creative” and “Healthy” as the criteria. C.U.H.K. F.A.A. Thomas Cheung Primary School and Ju Ching Chu Secondary School (Yuen Long) won the champion in the contest. |

Mr. Ko, an experienced chef from Super Star Group was invited to share his unique skills of making Tuen Ng Dumpling with scallop and ham in the Tuen Ng Dumpling workshop. All participants successfully made their own Tuen Ng dumplings and shared with their friends and relatives to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival.
